Your Jet Training

The requirements are the regulations of the JAR-FCL1.261. You will receive ground school training and practical flight training on a Cessna 525 (CJ) or 525A  (CJ2).

Your overall ground school training will be 14 hours classroom. We always will use computer based training aids (Cessna 525 CBT) for the following sessions:

Q C525 systems & performance

Q CJ - CJ1 - CJ2 Differences

Q Qualification for RVSM Flights

Q FMS/GPS BRNAV Training

At the end of the ground school you have to pass through a multiple choice skill test.

By JAR-FCL regulation you need to complete   6 hrs/8 hrs of flight training plus 1 hrs skill test flight. The flight training will be performed in 4 sessions - 2 sessions normal operations and 2 session abnormal operations. Normally flight training will be practised using multi crew concept standards (MCC).

***** Some JAA Member states have local regulations and may require more training hours. ******

We do not use a Flight Simulator for your flight training. All hours will be flown with our CJ. You will be prepared in optimum handling for "YOUR" CJ.  No simulator can replace a real aircraft, except may be in some extreme manoeuvres witch are most unlikely to happen in the real world.  But the real world in witch we operate our CJ, will give you impressions and experiences you will never get in a simulator.

We practise this C525 flight training since 1994 - we will satisfy your expectations !

At the end of your jet flight training you will meet with a C525 Examiner pilot (CRE) for your final 1hr flight skill test. You will receive the documentation for your local authority for your licence entry. You are then qualified to be a crewmember on a CJ, CJ1,CJ2 and the CJ3.

Location of our TRTO is Dortmund Airport GAT (EDLW or IATA DTM). Travel to us is very easy with some low cost operators like Air Berlin, EasyJet or WizzAir. Hotels are very close by the airport. We will help you, finding a convenient hotel.

Our training aircraft is a 97 model CJ, loaded with FMS (GNS-xls) and KLN90 GPS. Also a new 2005 model CJ2 with dual PFD, UNS-FMS , EGPWS, TCAS and Garmin Avionics is available to us for flight training. We have also access to a CJ2+ and a CJ3 through our partner company OBO JET-Charter.
